Anita Scribner, MD

Anita Scribner spent her childhood in Wills Bespeak, Texas, aside from one year in northern Italy as a foreign exchange student. She attended the Academy of Texas and received a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Public Health from Academy of Texas Health Scientific discipline Centre - Houston. Anita completed her Medical Degree at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and went to Indiana University Medical Heart in Indianapolis for Internal Medicine residency, followed past University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for her fellowship in Infectious Diseases.

Anita joined Diagnostic Clinic of Longview in 1999 and has served continuously as an infectious diseases consultant at both Longview Regional Medical Eye and Good Shepherd. She holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has been a physician at Special Wellness Resources since 2002 and now serves as Chief Medical Officeholder.

Anita married Ray Scribner in 1987 and they have seven children. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, and bicycling. She has been a volunteer with Diakonia Empathetic Ministries in Kisumu, Kenya since 2005.

Michael Leath, Doctor

Dr. Michael Leath grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Baylor University, then University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for medical school. He trained in Internal Medicine in Galveston. in 1977, Dr. Leath opened his ain practice in 1977 in Longview after condign board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Leath became interested in Addiction Medicine in 2006 and has worked part time in that field since 2006 and was board certified in Addiction Medicine in 2018. He currently directs a Methadone dispensary in Longview along with working in the Suboxone Dispensary for SHRT at Jim Meyer Clinic. He also serves as a physician monitor for the Physician Health Program in Texas.

Jonathan Ury, DDS, Dental Manager

Dr. Ury grew up in West Texas and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The Academy of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2018 where he graduated in the top twenty-v of his form. He then pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he learned many circuitous dental procedures.

Dr. Ury has been working with Special Health Resources of Texas in Longview, TX since July 2019 and loves treating patients of East Texas. He enjoys traveling, music, exercise, spending time with his family, and is a foodie at middle.

Dr. Ury uses all his experience he has gained and applies it to his everyday life to give his patients the best care possible.

S. Elizabeth Werth, FNP

Elizabeth graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFSU) in 2002 with her Bachelors of Scientific discipline in Nursing.  She has worked in Longview for most of her nursing career.  Elizabeth returned to school at SFASU to pursue her Master'southward degree and became certified equally a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020.  She is a fellow member of both state and national nurse practitioner organizations.

Elizabeth and her hubby, Trent, have four children who attend Hallsville schools.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family unit and friends, reading, exercising, running, being outdoors, and traveling.

Elizabeth is excited to work with Special Health Resources to improve the health of our customs past increasing access to healthcare services and providing quality principal care.

Margaret Dodson, WHNP

Margaret was born and raised in Longview, Texas. She graduated from Longview Loftier School.

Margaret graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2000. She expert as a RN for local hospitals and local home wellness agencies and went on to receive a Principal's of Scientific discipline in Nursing from The University of Cincinnati in 2009.

Margaret is specialized as a Board Certified Women's Wellness Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing under Dr. Scribner for 11 years with Special Health Resources. In that time she has become a credentialed HIV Specialist, and is professionally trained in colposcopy, anoscopy, and transgender care.

Margaret and her husband Jason have a xvi-year-former son and a 14-yr-old daughter. In her complimentary time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and being with those she loves.

Margaret has enjoyed watching Special Health Resources grow over the last decade and helping the citizens of East Texas with their medical needs.

Tracy Hicks, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, FIANN

Tracy Hicks is a dual certified APRN in Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health. She received her BSN from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2010, Master'southward and Post Master's degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013 and 2015, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University in 2017.

Tracy holds a certification in addictions through the International Nursing Society on Addictions (IntNSA), and a certification in Multifariousness and Inclusion through Cornell University.

Tracy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Award Society besides as local, state, and national NP organizations. She serves on committees for the American University of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM), Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), and IntNSA.

She likewise serves as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program Coordinator at Texas Christian University (TCU) where she promotes education on habit and care of those living with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and other underserved populations.

Tiffany Clendening, PMHNP

Tiffany Clendening is an advanced practise registered nurse (APRN) and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who assesses and treats adults and young adults with low, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, postal service-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and personality disorders.

Tiffany is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is currently licensed to exercise in the state of Texas. She received her Master'southward in Science from Academy of Texas at Arlington. Her career in nursing began in 2005 as a Registered Nurse from the Academy of Texas at Tyler. Tiffany is a member of the American Clan of Nurse Practitioners and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, Tiffany as well works in collaboration with other treatment providers. She has a passion for integrative psychiatry with a holistic person-centered approach.

Elizabeth Hernandez, Nutritionist

Elizabeth grew up an Air Force deviling and settled in East Texas during loftier school where she graduated from Hallsville High. She went on to nourish Stephen F. Austin where she obtained both her undergrad and graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics.

Elizabeth has been working as a Registered Dietitian for 6 years at present and takes a "food equally medicine" arroyo to health.

Elizabeth is married and has 2 daughters. In her spare time, she loves cooking, camping, hiking, tending to her backyard chickens, cycling, and helping her husband run their local bike shop.

Sarah Earnest, FNP

Sarah received her bachelors of nursing degree from Academy of Texas at Tyler-Longview in 2010. She worked at Good Shepherd on a cardiac/neuro unit for half dozen years while also completing her Family Nurse Practitioner license. She received her degree from Walden University and has now been practicing with Special Health Resource for a little over 4 years.

Sarah'southward patient population includes chief care and infectious disease. She loves helping her patients acheive their wellness goals.

Exterior of work, Sarah enjoys her country life with her married man and children. She loves the outdoors and traveling when life allows it.
